| Eyes of the World and the Hollywood feature film "27 Dresses" In 2007, a Hollywood movie was shot across the street from Eyes of the World at the Mill Tavern on North Main. There is a scene in the movie where Katherine Heigl is looking through her daily planner book (she plans weddings) and it opens to a shot of our business card inside her planner. It lasts only two seconds, but countless people saw it and have called and emailed. There have been dozens of calls and emails. They asked:"How did you get your business card in the movie?""Did you have to pay for product placement?"" Did they come take yoga class" People are kinda nutz. I had no idea. I never saw the movie until recently. I was just bummed that many people couldn't get to yoga class those days during the filming because the streets were all blocked off. I just found out that Brigette Bourdeau, who played "Olga" made it to class. Thanks Brigette if you passed along the card. My friend Tony Mozzarella Punchanello did a screen capture of the business card from the movie. ------------------------------------------------------------ Eyes of the World also shows up in the movie "Underdog" (2007) which was shot in the park across the street. You can clearly see the Eyes stainglass windows. Underdog never made it to yoga class. Would someone like to do a screen capture of that? |
